Mastering Quickbooks Online for the Retailer
Retail bookkeeping has its own set of unique processes & procedures that are not taught in traditional courses. In this training, I will show you how to track the money flowing through your retail business in a way that your financial statements are accurate and meaningful.
Getting set up! I will guide you through selecting the right QBO subscription version, making sure you are paying for features you will need and use. Guidance through setting up your company data file, specific to the retail industry. You will receive my very own chart of accounts, and I will show you how to implement it.
Accuracy! I will guide you through accurately coding out your banking activity. We will deep dive into the banking feature, where most of the errors occur in DIY accounting. You will learn the order of coding, and I will be providing you with a list of bewares when it comes to Quickbooks Online Artificial Intelligence.
Money Movement! I will teach you how to accurately recognize your sales receipts in your accounting software. You will know how to record your sales receipts, capturing the money moving in and out of your business, exactly as it occurs.
Reconciling Your Money! We will review reconsiling your cash in transit, reconciling your sales and inventory.
Financial Statement Reporting! We will walk through a sample balance sheet and income statement together so you can gain the confidence to produce and analyze your financial statements...ultimately allowing you to understand your financial story.
